NextGen Partners' mission is to facilitate the building of relationships among Venture Capitalists and Private Equity Investors.

NextGen Partners of Silicon Valley was formed in February 2001. Under the direction of the executive team, NextGen Partners has rapidly grown to a membership base of over 400 members representing over 200 firms in Silicon Valley.  Membership is limited to investment professionals at a pre-partner level within a venture capital firm or private equity firm.  NextGen Partners represents the future of general partners within the Bay Area. These are the best and brightest individuals who are actively looking at deals, creating syndicates, and making investment decisions.  NextGen Partners was created to foster the growth and development of relationships between venture and private equity funds and between investment professionals within those firms.  NextGen Partners serves as a catalyst for understanding the complementary skill sets of other partners, identifying follow-on investors, and creating high quality syndicates.
